Meetings reimagined

In 2019 GoToMeeting launched a sleek and modern overhaul of their meeting tool. The product overhaul launched into early access for the US audience, and I was tasked with executing the UX of the beta opt-in program.

In addition to the beta launch GoToMeeting was re-introduced to the market as the “New” GoToMeeting, I worked with the Web and Marketing teams to successfully update the entire site from Navigation and IA, to the Homepage, Signup flows, Plans & Pricing and Checkout funnel.
Right away we set out to pin down the UX of the beta program. Working with stakeholders I created flow diagrams to outline the journey for our prospects and customers.
Working with a Jr. Designer, we aligned with Brand on the campaign creative and video assets before creating a landing page to generate buzz and excitement around the product and drive demand for the beta.


I collaborated with Product Marketing on the content strategy, helping write headlines and content for the page while prototyping animations and coordinating with Engineers to build the underlying CSS animation framework.
Next, I focused on reducing visitor bounce rate on the site to maximize the impact that the Marketing re-launch. Working with Analytics and the Web Product Owner, we identified an opportunity to shift prospect behavior and recover their interest as they were about to leave the website.


I researched competitors, best practices, principles in psychology, established conventions and patterns, as well as best-in-class solution providers of abandonment recovery. We launched an A/B test of the following experience and found that it reduced bounce rate while driving a significant increase in signup conversions.
GoToMeeting is the flagship collaboration product for LogMeIn. As part of the Marketing re-launch and various site updates, many design reviews involved stakeholders from Product Marketing, GMs, and the Executive leadership team.


With high expectations for success, I worked with the Web team to refine the Site IA, Homepage, Trial Signup, and Checkout flows to propel the business forward. In just a few months, we delivered numerous initiatives for GoToMeeting that led to a resounding success for the product and the company.
