The Cruise offering on the American Airlines website reflected the older AA brand dating back to mid-2010. In 2014 it was time to modernize the site and bring it in line with the latest AA brand guide and site design. I was the lead designer on the project, working with Brand Managers, Content Publishers, and our skilled Developers.

In researching the AA brand guide, visual language, and airline site design, it was apparent that a focus on experiential imagery was a center point in their marketing effort. We carried this approach forward to the cruise site. The end result is a clean and fresh site that genuinely sells a notion of the idealized travel experience to prospects.
